The Mumma's Village
There is an African proverb that says “It takes a village to raise a child.” At The Mummas Village we want to provide you with a network of experts and other parents to educate, support and guide you through your pregnancy and parenting journey at every stage. We offer evidence based, logical and down to earth antenatal classes together with fun, stimulating, developmentally appropriate baby classes. Our ethos is to offer continuity of care, judgement free support and a safe community for parents to learn and families to grow.
St Luke's, Grayshott, Babes and Toddlers Group
A friendly welcoming group for parents and carers of babies and toddlers up to 3 years. There is playtime as well as song and storytime. If you would like up to date information about the weekly activities of Babes & Toddlers as well as other local family activities then please do request to join the private Facebook group (search "St Luke's Babes &Toddlers"). Sessions are term-time on Monday mornings: 10am - 11.30am with a
£1.50 voluntary donation
The Singing Collective
The Singing Collective is run and led by Harriet Roberts in Haslemere. Harriet is a local mum of three who as well as running the choir, is also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. Harriet is very passionate about mental health and finding ways to both help people struggling or prevent the struggle happening, whether that be in adults or children. She has lots of experience with working with babies and toddlers as she previously ran 'Sing and Sing' both in London and Haslemere across 8 years. Sessions are every Wednesday morning during West Sussex school term times, 10.30am - 11.30am at Haslewey Community Centre. Coffee & biscuits included!
Molly Moocow
For over twenty years we have been providing exciting ways to learn – children’s music and movement classes. Listening to and participating in music and movement stimulates a child’s senses, enhances their language development, improves social interaction, encourages self-expression and builds confidence. We welcome children with support needs and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate and benefit from our classes. Sessions are held at The Haslemere Hub on Friday mornings at 9.30am and 10.15am.
St. Alban's Babies and Toddlers Group
Do come and join us for play, fun, craft, singing and a chance to meet others. £1 per family. Refreshments for adults are provided. Water and plain biscuits are available as a snack for children otherwise, please feel free to bring your own. Sessions are held at St. Alban's church hall on Wednesdays 9am to 11.30am.
Toddler Sense
Toddler Sense is a multi-sensory adventure class for children 13 months to 5 years old. Each session aims to develop your busy toddler’s skills in a safe and happy environment with a mixture of adventure play and structured activities. In Haslemere, sessions are held in Grayswood Village Hall on a Friday
Latin & Ballroom Dance Classes
Latin and Ballroom dance classes held on Monday and Tuesday evenings at Fernhurst Village Hall, run by professional Ukrainian ballroom dancers Sergey and Ekaterina. Beginners and experienced dancers welcome. Come on your own or with a partner. Sergey and Ekaterina can also offer private lessons and wedding dances. Haslemere Table Tennis Club
Haslemere Table Tennis club is a local volunteer-run club with members of all ages and abilities. They welcome new members from absolute beginners to accomplished players. Members can play casually or competitively. Club nights run twice per week: On Tuesday at The Edge, Woolmer Hill from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm and on Thursdays at Grayswood Village Hall from 7:15 pm until late. They also have a Junior Club session from 6 pm – 7 pm on a Thursday at Grayswood Village hall. These are open to beginners aged 9 - 15 years old who would like to learn to play or improve their game.
