Join Chris Harrison, Chairman of The Haslemere Society in the foyer of the Museum for a Blue Plaque Walk. The walk will last about 1 hour 30 minutes and end in Foundry Lane, off Kings Road. We will explore six of The Society’s plaques and stories of some of the key people and events who have shaped the history of the town – from the notorious general election of 1754 to the Peasant Arts Society, a branch of the Arts & Crafts movement.
