This is part of a series of events arranged by Haslemere Biodiversity.
Nature Recovery in Haslemere: Join the Conversation
This May, Haslemere Biodiversity is hosting a series of four community events exploring the future of nature in and around Haslemere, and we'd love for as many interested people to take part as possible.
Across the UK, communities are stepping up to restore habitats, strengthen wildlife corridors and bring nature back into everyday spaces. Haslemere is developing its own Nature Recovery Strategy (HNRS), and these events are a chance to help shape it.
Each session focuses on a different theme; woodlands & hedgerows, heathland & grassland, aquatic habitats and community spaces & wildlife gardening, with invited partners reflecting the topic of the day. All four events will include the full strategy information, opportunities to share your ideas, and space to discuss what nature recovery could look like in your area.
Whether you’re a gardener, dog‑walker, landowner, volunteer, student, or simply someone who loves the outdoors, your insight matters. Local knowledge of wildlife, history and place is essential to building a strategy that truly reflects the landscapes we live in.
Join us to learn, contribute, and be part of a growing movement of communities taking nature recovery into their own hands.
This is the Fourth of Four events at Haslemere Town Hall. Four themes. One shared mission: restoring nature, together.
