Christmas Charities Fair Celebrates 40 Years

CELEBRATING 40 YEARS OF THE CHARITIES FAIR!

The ever-popular Christmas Charities Fair is celebrating its 40th annual event on Saturday 23rd November, from 10.00-2.00pm at the iconic Haslemere Hall and is the only multi-charity market in Haslemere’s calendar. All not-for-profit organisations are welcome to book a stall – that’s volunteer and community groups as well as registered charities. Publicity for the Fair has been kindly sponsored by Stricklands Dental Fitness Centre.

Haslemere Rotary Club took over organizing the Fair from BLISS Baby Charity in 2021. To celebrate this 40th milestone, Rotary are pleased and delighted to announce that the funding for the Haslemere Hall hire has been secured from Haslemere Town Council and a generous private supporter. This means there will be NO CHARGE for stall tables!

The aim is to give over 30 charities the chance to participate in this well-attended and much-loved Christmas Fair, so everyone will be allocated one 6ft table.

Entry to the Fair is FREE to the public and, as in previous years, there will be an abundance of exciting stalls offering fabulous gifts, quality presents, delicious home-made cakes and amazing handcrafted goods to name but a few – a golden opportunity to enjoy shopping whilst supporting worthy causes!

As always, over the past 40 years, the Fair aims to attract families with visits to Father Christmas’s Grotto, Santa’s Craft Workshop, Face-painting, Children’s books and gifts, plus raffles and tombolas. There is also the Coffee Shop offering beverages, snacks and cakes etc.

Booking for Father Christmas’s Grotto and Santa’s Craft Workshop can be arranged at santabooking@icloud.com.

There really is something for everyone of all ages and stages in life at the Rotary Christmas Fair!
