Young Dorothy (the Judy Garland character) is swept away by a tornado from her Kansas farm to Munchkinland in the magical land of Oz. The falling farmhouse kills the cruel ruler of the Munchkins, the Wicked Witch of the East. The Munchkins tell Dorothy to go to the Emerald City to ask the great Wizard of Oz to help her return home. Meanwhile, the Wicked Witch of the West, sister of the late Wicked Witch of the East, vows revenge upon Dorothy.

Dorothy meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion, who all have their own reasons for asking for the Wizard's help. Having been warned of the lions, tigers, bears and the fantastical jitterbugs who are controlled by the Wicked Witch of the West, the four friends travel down the Yellow Brick Road to find the Wizard …

The show features events not seen in the film, and you'll meet new characters like Farmhand Joe, Gloria of Oz, Tibia (the witch’s skeletal assistant), two comical neighbouring witches, and the Royal Army of Oz.

You'll hear all the well known songs from the film: “Over the Rainbow,” “Munchkinland (Ding Dong! The Witch Is Dead),” “If I Only Had a Brain/A Heart/The Nerve,” “We’re Off to See the Wizard (Follow the Yellow Brick Road),” and “The Merry Old Land of Oz.” plus songs that were cut from the final film.
