At last there are visible signs of spring, so why not come and join Paul Matson - a keen and experienced birdwatcher as he leads a 2.5 hour walk through the glorious heathland on Black Down NT.  Hopefully we will catch sight of some heathland specialist birds such as Woodlark, Stonechat, Dartford Warbler and possibly Crossbill and also some summer migrants, so several warbler species and may be Cuckoo.

Starting at 8 am, it will be a slow walk of around 4-5 km with a steepish path of 200m from the car park to the main path but the land is undulating after that and should be a pleasant and worthwhile walk - hopefully in some spring sunshine.  Please no dogs - and do bring your binoculars if you have them!
