This summer's heatwaves have brought climate change home for many of us.
What’s happening with climate and nature, and what does it mean for everyday life in the UK? Join us for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing - an eye-opening 50-minute film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts with the latest evidence and why it matters for things like: extreme weather, food security, health, cost of living.
The People's Emergency Briefing — a film presented by Chris Packham and informed by leading scientists — gives a clear, evidence-based picture of how climate change is already affecting our lives, what it could mean for our children's future, and the practical steps, from government to households, that can make a difference.
After the film we will hear from representatives of local climate & nature organisations about what this emergency means for our community and what we can do locally.
Greg Stafford MP and Councillors Oliver Leach and Terry Weldon will also join this important discussion about our future.
Recommended age 16+. Book your free tickets here. 3pm to 5pm.
