£36 from Haslemere Hall Box Office

Join us for an exploration of how geology shapes the wines we love. The land beneath the vines plays a crucial role in the aroma, flavour and structure of wines. In this talk two of Haslemere’s exploration geologists and a winemaker will discuss the influence of soil and rock formations on different grape varieties and winemaking traditions.

The talk will be followed by a guided tasting of wines selected to illustrate the theme, accompanied by a charcuterie and cheese board.

Whether you are a wine enthusiast or a curious explorer, this event promises a deeper appreciation of the connection between earth and glass.

With Simon Ingram, Philip Birch and Catherine Keohane.
