Two grounds our main ground at Grayshott and the idyllic setting of Broxhead Common where most of our boys, girls and women's cricket is played
This continued growth is a positive sign of a healthy and inclusive club.
The existing pavilion facilities at Broxhead Common ground, particularly the toilets and changing rooms, were designed at a time when the club’s membership was smaller and predominantly male. As participation has grown and diversified, these facilities are no longer sufficient in terms of capacity, accessibility or suitability. The club feels it is important to have welcoming facilities that are fundamental to creating an environment where women and girls feel valued, comfortable and encouraged to continue participating.
If the club is to sustain the momentum and continue building strong pathways for girls into adult cricket, it is essential that the pavilion reflects the inclusive future of the club.
Modern, accessible and properly proportioned facilities will remove barriers to participation, support equality of opportunity, and ensure the pavilion can serve both the expanding cricket membership and the wider community groups who rely on it.
The project looks to deliver the following;
1. Separate access to changing rooms away from the main club room.
2. Dedicated unisex toilet area for non players, increasing the number of toilets and enhancing the space for all users
3. Increase the size of changing rooms with a dedicated toilet and shower space in each team changing room, suitable for all users.
4. Provide a dedicated accessible toilet and separate changing space
