A bit more about the Hub:

The Link Community Hub will transform the old school building adjacent to St Bartholomew’s Church into a Community Hub to meet the many and varied needs of the community. A first floor will be inserted into the building to provide a suite of three counselling rooms and a central meeting room. This will provide much needed and purpose built facilities for Crossways Counselling and Citizens Advice Waverley.

On the ground floor a spacious meeting room will be created alongside a large kitchen and office space for volunteers. The Hub will be fully accessible with lift access and will be energy efficient with attention paid to insulation as well as the installation of hidden solar panels. A new and welcoming entrance will open onto Derby Road.

Subject to completion of funding we aim to open the Hub in late 2025
