Studio Simple celebrates a year of co-working and social meetups for creatives in Haslemere
Studio Simple in Lower Street, Haslemere, has celebrated a year in business. They offer what they describe as "No Faff Creative Co-Working". The business provides hourly, daily desks or monthly memberships as well as monthly meetups for creatives who work locally and want to network and support each other. Owner Emma Stokes told us her space is one that fosters a culture of collaboration and support for each other in our businesses and as humans. She said:
I got to celebrate a milestone I never in a million years imagined would ever be possible. I have had a co-working space dedicated to supporting creatives and collaborative thinkers, outside of London, a space to bring people together, outside of their homes and off the trains for an entire year. Thats a brick-and-mortar business that has lasted a year, 365 days. It has changed me intensely I am a more productive human, a more creative designer, and I am a better person because everyday I do my best to help and support anyone that comes through my door as best as I can.
Michael Alves, a local resident, attended the birthday celebrations and shared:
Happy 1st birthday Studio Simple! You threw a lovely party ... and you’re a great design and co-working resource to the whole community.
Melissa King of Marley Flowers stated:
Well said Michael. Congratulations Emma Stokes on your first year. Many happy returns!
Eva Louise Loudon, owner of The Craftiful Studio also offered praise:
Such a fantastic space! Well done Emma and happy 1 year.
Here at This is Haslemere we also congratulated Emma Stokes and thanked her for all the work she did supporting the launch of This is Haslemere.
