A chamber music society in Haslemere

HHH concerts was founded as the Haslemere, Hindhead and Headley Music Club in January 1934. Back then, its concerts took place in member's homes. In 1993 it changed its name to HHH concerts. The name change marked a shift in style from an intimate club to a society promoting public concerts. It aims to enable music lovers to hear outstanding music performances locally and to provide opportunities to young professional musicians. HHH Concerts presents a season of concerts in St Christopher's Church in Haslemere each year. At the moment, they hold approximately 15 concerts per annum. They also have a number of outreach initiatives with local care homes and schools and they have recently started a collaborative venture with Hindhead Music Centre. Tickets to concerts can be purchased online at or on the door, subject to availability. Tickets for young people aged between 8 and 25 are free at every ensemble concert. These tickets are funded by HHH Concerts’ membership of the Cavatina Trust.

This role involves closely working with the Chairman and with local external parties such as schools and churches. Working hours are flexible and you can work from home. Responsibilities would include providing support at board meetings and at the AGM, issuing agendas and papers, taking minutes, maintaining the files of performer contracts, arranging HHH bookings with venues, liasing with schools, keeping up to date policies, maintaining a register of volunteers as well as other administrative tasks as agreed with the Chairman. More information can be found at the HHH website at HHH concerts would also love to hear from anyone interested in becoming a Trustee. Trustees are volunteers who lead charities and decide how they are run. Trusteeship can be a great way of contributing to causes you care about. Anyone can be a trustee and the role can be quite flexible both in terms of time and the nature of the role. All the trustees and volunteers at HHH are unpaid.
