There are 3 walking groups at 3 Counties Vineyard Church covering various abilities, from 2 to 5 miles.

On the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month, led by Eric Pepper, this walking group is for fellowship, fitness, flora and fauna as walkers enjoy the wonders of creation all around. All abilities are welcome. Sign up for details of when and where to meet. Feel free to invite friends and neighbours!

On the 2nd Wednesday of the month, the walking group heads off from different locations within the local area. These walks will be around 5 miles each time, taking up to 2 hours to complete. All those with sufficient walking ability / fitness welcome. Feel free to invite friends and neighbours.

A Place To Be is a youth group. It runs every Friday evening from 7 pm until 9 pm at Shottermill Junior School. All those in years 7, 8 and 9 are welcome to attend.

BUGs is a netball club based in Haslemere, Surrey, that gives players of all ages and abilities the opportunity to progress within the sport. Established in 1988 the club is well respected. Several junior teams are entered into local leagues and tournaments. Older junior members are given the opportunity to play within the senior teams to help gain experience by playing higher level adult netball. The juniors are also given the opportunity to learn umpiring skills and can be supported through sections of their Duke of Edinburgh awards. Senior teams play in local leagues in Farnborough.

Beacon Hill Football Club was founded in 1990 and now boasts more than 460 playing members across junior, youth, and senior age groups. They also have over 120 girls playing football at the club and a disability team.

The Bethany McKeand School of Dance offers ballet, tap, modern and contemporary dance classes for children and young adults, as well as beginner tap classes for adults. Carers and Friends Monthly MeetUp is open to unpaid carers and anyone else who would like to benefit from chat and local information. These informal, sociable gatherings take place at the Fernhurst Hub on the first Friday of the month between 14:30 and 16:00.

Chatterbooks reading group is held at the Haslemere Library one Saturday each month from 11.10 am until 11.50 am. Please check with the library for the next session date. The group is suitable for children aged 7 years and over.

Chiddingfold Cricket Club is a thriving cricket club with three senior teams and seven junior age groups from U7-U15. Junior coaching takes place on Wednesday and Friday. There are also winter nets.

Chiddingfold Golf Club offers a 12-hole pay and play golf course plus an academy 5-hole short course and a driving range. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to star performers with regular taster days and family and junior clinics.

Excel Gymnastics offer recreational gymnastics classes for children aged 4 – 16 years. They run classes 6 days a week in 2 nearby venues - Amesbury School in Hindhead and Woolmer Hill School in Haslemere.

A community cricket club in Fernhurst for men, women & juniors aged 7 upwards.

Fernhurst FC have 6 junior teams training on a Thursday evening and playing matches on Saturday with South Surrey and North East Hants Youth Leagues. They also have fun sessions and training for reception, Years 1, 2 & 3 on a Saturday morning at Fernhurst Recreation Ground. They're hoping to also have an adult team shortly.

There is a drop-in Craft Afternoon on Mondays from 13:30 - 15:30 at the Fernhurst Hub. It's a chance to meet like-minded crafters. Just bring your knitting, crochet, cross stitch, weaving or any other portable craft with you and enjoy the company of others.

The Fernhurst Tennis Club has 3 top quality, all weather porous asphalt courts at Fernhurst recreation ground. The club also enjoys access to a pavilion where you will find the Fern Cafe, changing facilities and comfortable meeting areas. The club has approximately 250 members. There are numerous opportunities to play in weekly club roll-ups, self-organised, friendly games, league matches for club teams, and intra-club matches in the local LTA county league. In addition there is ad-hoc play for non-members.

Cecile runs French lessons from The Fernhurst Hub. She currently provides courses for students at Beginner, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Advanced (with conversation) levels.

Frensham Pond Sailing Club welcomes new members, both experienced sailors and those wishing to learn. Frensham Pond Sailing Club is a club for all ages, all abilities and all seasons. It is a club of about 350 dinghies with the common interest of sailing in the lovely setting of Frensham Pond. Organised racing takes place every weekend throughout the year as well as on Wednesday evenings in the Summer.

Games Afternoon takes place every Thursday from 14:00 - 16:00 at the Fernhurst Hub. All are welcome and it is free to attend. It's a fun and sociable afternoon playing board games and cards. Games include backgammon, scrabble, chess, bananagrams and more.

We organise walks every week throughout the year, varying in length from 3 to 12 miles.

Our Walks Programme gives details of all our walks. These take place on Wednesdays, Thursday mornings, Friday evenings (during the summer months), Sundays and some Saturdays. On all-day walks we usually have a pub stop at lunchtime. Areas covered include Surrey, West Sussex, Hampshire and London. For members we have a WhatsApp group for car-sharing.

A family-orientated club with four men's teams playing both league and friendly matches with our new ladies side playing softball cricket. Junior coaching and games for every age from under 8 to under 19 plus a dedicated girls group and fun sessions for our popular 5 to 7 year old ALLSTARS.

Grayshott Tennis Club provides playing opportunities for members of all ages and standards. They have 3 hard court tennis courts, 2 of which are floodlit. They offer adult and junior sessions and have teams in both the Summer and Winter leagues. They have regular mixed doubles events, friendly inter club matches, club tournaments throughout the year and an annual Summer tournament.

Affiliated with Hampshire FA, Grayshott Youth Football Club promotes youth coaching in a friendly atmosphere for boys and girls from 5-16 years. Focus is on enjoyment and development. Training takes place on a weekday evening with matches played on a Saturday or Sunday in the North East Hampshire Youth or Surrey Primary leagues.

Grayswood Cricket Club is a vibrant and family-friendly village cricket club. It offers All Stars Cricket for ages 5 to 7, Dynamos Cricket for ages 7 to 11, Girls & Women’s Cricket from age 11, Junior League Cricket for Boys and Girls ages 8 to 17 and Adult League and Friendly Cricket for ages 13+.

Grayswood Women's Institute is a friendly group of women of all ages, from all walks of life that meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7.45 pm in Grayswood Village Hall.

The Haslemere Air Cadets offer young people from all walks of life a chance to get active, learn new skills and make new friends in an inspirational and safe environment. The Haslemere Air Cadets meet twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 pm to 9.30 pm. They get involved in a wide variety of activities including flying, guiding, target shooting, adventure training, camps, drill, sports, academic studies and more. Cadets need to be 12 to join and usually leave aged 18.

The Haslemere Art Society supports amateur and professional artists to help build community and bring together those making art of any kind, promoting interest in the visual arts for the residents of Haslemere and the surrounding area. The Haslemere Art Society has a long history in Haslemere, it was founded in 1894 and has evolved into the thriving community of creatives it is today.

Our volunteers run a varied programme of workshops, demonstrations and talks with guest artists that are well-attended. The society also has regular groups that meet to create together. It seeks to support and bring together local creatives in painting, ceramics, glass, sculpture, textiles and many more.

Friendly, growing and social running club that meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Woolmer Hill Sports Club. The club caters for absolute beginners through to top club runners.

A bowling club that operates from the Haslemere Recreation Ground. The season runs from April to September with a full programme of club competitions and matches during this time.

Members club in an ornate Victorian building on Haslemere High Street. The club welcomes new members and temporary membership for workers in the local area.. It has two snooker tables, a pool room, free Wi-Fi, two televisions showing all sports, comfortable chairs, board games, darts.

Founded in 1827, Haslemere Cricket Club runs 2 league sides, Colts U8, a Sunday friendly side and an Ashurst mid-week side.

There are a number of girlguiding groups in Haslemere and the surrounding villages. Rainbows are for 4-7 year olds, Brownies for 7-10 year olds, Guides for 10-14 year olds and Rangers for 14-18 year olds.

Haslemere Hockey Club is a thriving club with over 450 playing members and exceptional facilities. They field 8 men's and 5 ladies' teams as well a thriving junior section which caters for all age groups – U6s through to U16s. The hockey season runs from September to March.

The Surrey Karate Academy teaches traditional karate and welcomes all abilities. Children from age 6 upwards can join, as can adults. Lessons take place on Wednesday evenings at Shottermill Junior School. Gradings are conducted regularly at the club.

Haslemere Library runs two Book Clubs. One is held on the first Wednesday of the month from 2.30 pm until 3.30 pm. The second is held on the first Thursday of the month from 2.30 pm until 3.30 pm.

Haslemere Musical Society (HMS) is an amateur musical society with both a symphony orchestra and chorus. Rehearsals are normally held at 7.30 on Monday evenings from September to May in the Haslemere Hall.

Haslemere Performing Arts Ballet, Dance and Theatre School offers a variety of dance lessons each week ranging from Musical Theatre to Adult Tap, Ballet and Street Dance.

The Haslemere Players is an amateur theatre company dedicated to staging popular musical theatre productions of the highest possible standard to Haslemere Hall. Their shows regularly win awards of excellence from NODA (the National Operatic and Dramatic Association). Audiences, performers, technicians and production teams come from all over the surrounding area and in the main from within ten miles of the town.

Haslemere Rugby Club aims to provide a fun, supportive and safe playing environment for Girls, Minis, Juniors, Colts and Seniors. Senior training is at 7.30 pm every Tuesday. Mini & Junior training is at 10 am every Sunday. There are also female rugby teams in Haslemere. Haslemere BlueBelles has three youth teams: U12s, U14s & U16s.

There are seven local Scout Groups (young people aged 6-14 years) and 2 Explorer Scout groups (14-18 years) in Haslemere and the surrounding villages. Beavers is for 6-8 year olds, Cubs is for 8-10 1/2 year olds, Scouts is for 10 1/2 to 14 year olds and Explorers is for 14-18 year olds.

We are a small friendly group offering a chair-bound physiotherapy session with a pianist. We meet on Wednesday afternoons at Holy Cross Hospital from 2pm – 4 pm (with a few seasonal breaks). We offer a 45 minute chair bound exercise programme led by a physiotherapist.

This is followed by tea then an assortment of activities – music, talks, quizzes, games. Anything to get the brain thinking and having a bit of fun at the same time. Our emphasis is also on letting the carers have a couple of hours to themselves although they are welcome to stay should they wish to do so.

We aim to make the afternoon fun, light hearted but we are good at talking to the members and listening to their troubles, and helping where we can. They all take part as much as they are able to and there is no pressure to do more than they feel they can. And of course, carers have a chance to have an afternoon off.

Haslemere Sub Aqua Club is a friendly scuba diving, training and social club with around 30 members. They own two club boats, fully kitted out for diving. The larger is kept on the south coast during the summer, readily accessible for getting out on dives around Sussex and the Isle of Wight whenever the weather allows. The smaller boat is based in a boatshed in Haslemere all year, ready for action locally or further afield. They run a programme of dives throughout the summer and run monthly pool training sessions throughout the year. These take place on Thursday evenings at 9pm at Haslemere Leisure Centre.

The Haslemere Swimming Club aims to promote swimming in Surrey by providing a competitive swimming programme alongside a structured teaching plan. All swimmers are encouraged to fulfil their swimming potential with competitive training programmes up to international standard. The club runs a thriving ‘Swimming Academy’ programme with swimming lessons on a Saturday evening and a growing Masters Swimming Squad.

Haslemere Table Tennis club is a local volunteer-run club with members of all ages and abilities. They welcome new members from absolute beginners to accomplished players. Members can play casually or competitively. Club nights run twice per week: On Tuesday at The Edge, Woolmer Hill from 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm and on Thursdays at Grayswood Village Hall from 7:15 pm until late. They also have a Junior Club session from 6 pm – 7 pm on a Thursday at Grayswood Village hall. These are open to beginners aged 9 - 15 years old who would like to learn to play or improve their game.

Haslemere Tennis Club is a friendly, inclusive tennis club with a diverse membership of almost 500 adults and juniors. All members are welcome to join in any one of four weekly 'mix in' doubles sessions or if you would prefer to polish your skills, individual and group coaching is also on offer. They also run a singles ladder and enter 14 teams in the LTA regional club leagues. The club is situated on Haslemere recreation ground where you will find 4 well maintained floodlit club courts. They also have a mini court and a further 3 courts which are available for larger events and tournaments.

Haslemere Thespians have a regular programme of events including a popular pantomime in January, along with a full length play in the Spring and Autumn. They also have a highly talented youth group.

Haslemere Town Band is a friendly community brass band based in Haslemere. They welcome brass and percussion players of all ages, levels of ability, and experience. The band rehearses at Beacon Hill United Reformed Church on Wednesday evenings from 7:45 pm to 9:45 pm. They also have a 'Training Band' programme, primarily aimed at children 8 years+ but they welcome adult learners too. If needed, an instrument can be provided.

Haslemere Town Youth Football Club promotes football for boys and girls locally.

The Haslemere U3A has over 750 members and more than 60 different groups, providing providing a wide range of stimulating activities for all ages and stages in life. The group is not just for retired people so if you are no longer working full-time or busy raising a young family, then this is your chance to develop your interests, make new friends and enjoy yourself! The U3A is about learning, socialising and exercise, both physical and mental. Outdoor activities include walking groups, bird watching, petanque, cycling groups, curling, target shooting and many more. There are also several language groups, a number of lunch clubs (including one on Sundays for solos), bridge groups for different levels of experience including beginners, book groups, wine appreciation, cooking for men, table tennis, dancing, jazz, a ukulele group, world history club and so much more. There really is something for everyone. Membership only costs £10 per year.

Haslemere Women's Institute is a friendly group of women of all ages from all walks of life that meet on the third Tuesday of each month at 10 a.m. in the Haslemere Hall

The Haslewey is a non-government funded community centre. It offers a wide range of daily activities and has an on site cafe open from 9 am until 3 pm each day. Always offering a warm welcome and lots of fun activities, the centre strives to offer a place for people of all ages to come and enjoy. It also has a community Post Office whose opening hours are Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm.

Headley Theatre Club is an active village drama group founded in 1952, based at Headley, Hampshire. We welcome all newcomers. Whatever your talents, we can find a place for you.

Men's football club in Hindhead, with 2 men's teams playing every Saturday and a vets' team for over 35s playing on a Sunday. Training is currently every Thursday with a 7pm start at the playing fields, Marchant Hill, Beacon Hill, Hindhead, Surrey.

Hindhead Cricket Club is a mens cricket club in Hindhead. It has 2 mens teams playing in the L'Anson League every Saturday and a friendly team playing on Sundays. Training is currently every Wednesday with a 6pm start at the playing fields on Marchant Hill in Beacon Hill.

Imagine That Productions (ITP) is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to bring the opportunity, inspiration, and joy of musical performance to as wide a community as possible. They offer performance opportunities to amateur singers and specialise in classical music, operetta, and music theatre. All events are open to the public and can range in size from performing in small community halls to full-scale theatre productions. They also encourage the development of backstage skills for those who prefer not to tread the boards. ITP has 5 Directors and is aided by many hours of voluntary support.

JK Coaching provides football and sports coaching services locally. It offers a number of different sessions, including After School, Lunchtime and Breakfast Clubs, as well as Evening and Weekend Sessions. They also have their own JK Football Academy on a Monday evening at the Edge Sports Centre.

Love Haslemere Hate Waste was born out of wanting to reduce waste, and use less, not just as an individual, but as a community. Started in 2019 by Victoria Page, Love Haslemere Hate Waste has become a movement for change in and around Haslemere. If a town like Haslemere can reduce its waste, educate its community, and do its bit for the world as a whole, what’s stopping other towns, and even cities, following our lead?

Lynchmere Cricket Club put out teams on Saturdays and Sundays from the beginning of May until the last weekend in September. Their teams are a mixture of age and youth. This is in line with their policy to welcome players of all abilities who are looking to play cricket for the enjoyment of the game and in the right spirit.

For over twenty years we have been providing exciting ways to learn – children’s music and movement classes. Listening to and participating in music and movement stimulates a child’s senses, enhances their language development, improves social interaction, encourages self-expression and builds confidence. We welcome children with support needs and are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to participate and benefit from our classes. Sessions are held at The Haslemere Hub on Friday mornings at 9.30am and 10.15am.

Playtime is a friendly & supportive playgroup for pre-school children and their carers. It is held at the 3 Counties Vineyard Church on Linchmere Road. There is a large upstairs area with toys and a downstairs rooms for story-time, snack-time and craft activities. There is also a dedicated area for babies and refreshments for adults.

Based in Haslemere and Grayshott, the school offers high quality classes in Ballet, Modern Theatre, Contemporary, Tap and Acro taught by qualified teachers and dance experts who love what they do.

Distressed household items can now be repaired at Haslemere's very own Repair Café! Bring your distressed household items to the Repair Café on the first Saturday of every month, at The Swan Inn from 10 am to 1 pm.

A no-audition and no-requirement-to-read-music choir experience that invites anyone with any level of musical experience to join. They sing pop and contemporary songs. The Haslemere Rock Choir rehearses on Tuesdays at 8pm at the Haslemere Methodist Church.

Rugby Tots is a dynamic weekly play sessions for boys and girls aged 2 - 7. Classes are held every Saturday morning at The Royal School.

Shottermill & Haslemere Football Club is a football club based in Haslemere. The club is currently a member of the Surrey Intermediate League Premier Division and teams play at Haslemere Recreation Ground. Training is at Woolmer Hill Sports Ground on the astro pitch.

Surrey Theatre Academy is an inclusive family-run theatre school that has a huge emphasis on fun but also manages to achieve truly excellent professional shows year after year. They hold weekly classes at the Haslemere Hall for children aged 5-18.

Suzie Songtime is a vibrant and original combination of music, song and spoken word for children from 0-5. Created and recorded by two professionals from musical theatreland who collaborated after meeting through the birth of their very own little darlings. Classes are held at The Hen House in Haslemere on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Swallows Trampolining Club (SWTC) offers a range of sessions for children aged 5-17 years of age. All sessions are mixed ability. Whether you have previous experience, or you are a complete beginner, every member will be coached at their individual skill level and will follow their own development programme.​

Tapestry Day Club is a charity that offers support to people living with dementia and respite to their carers. It is a warm and caring social club where good food can be enjoyed in a safe place allowing friendships to be made. We have a host in the heart of Haslemere.

The Arts Society Haslemere has a packed programme of events each year, with monthly lectures, a series of special interest day talks and outings to places of historical and artistic interest. They also have occasional trips abroad. The Annual Member's subscription is £45, which covers all the monthly lectures at Haslemere Hall. Members also receive a copy of The Arts Society Review, a quarterly magazine. They have an annual coffee morning for new members which is a good opportunity to meet each other and the committee. New members can join at any time during the year. There is currently no waiting list for member applications and members can book to attend study days and outings at our monthly lectures in Haslemere Hall. The Black Down and Hindhead Supporters help the local National Trust to conserve and protect their landscape nature reserves in and around Haslemere. The Committee liaises with the local National Trust staff to agree on key additional projects for the local area which central National Trust budgets are unable to cover.

We are a friendly badminton club that play at The Edge Leisure Centre, Woolmer Hill, Haslemere, GU27 1QB.

The Green Hub is a not-for-profit community group which helps teens with mild to moderate anxiety issues. It promotes mental wellbeing in teenagers. At The Green Hub, teenagers can become volunteers and work in the garden alongside experienced adult volunteers. The goal is to get them working together in a calm safe space, allowing the teenagers to step out of the pressures of normal daily life. Teens can also enjoy activities each week including sports and crafts.

The Haslemere Rotary Club is a friendly and dynamic club at the heart of our local community.  Where others see problems, Rotary see solutions and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in themselves. They are always looking for new members to welcome to Rotary and their mission is to serve the community, make friends and contacts and have fun through volunteering. They meet at Haslewey Community Centre on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm. Past events include members and speakers talks, supper evenings, country walks, trips and outings, skittles matches, race nights, visits to their Sister Club in France, Santa's Sleigh and many other community and charity supporting events.  Members also meet up on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at various locations for relaxed social gatherings. All members are welcome to join us at our weekly meetings and help at our events but, there is no commitment. 

With over 400 members, the Haslemere Society works to protect and enhance Haslemere, nearby villages and the surrounding countryside. It encourages local interest and support, with a particular focus on heritage, the environment and planning matters.

Founded in 1884, the Society is the oldest Civic Society in the country. It organises several events and talks each year on topics of local interest, publishes a high‑quality newsletter twice annually, and runs a Blue Plaque scheme celebrating 17 people and events that have helped shape the Haslemere we know today.

The Haslemere Youth Hub is a youth community centre for preschoolers through to teens and young adults. They provide a wide range of weekly clubs for babies through to teens, all under one roof. These range from street dance, aerial silks, basketball, singing groups, mother and baby groups to football and much more. Affordable activities are also hosted for all ages during school holidays.

The purpose of The Hunter Centre is to improve the quality of life for those living with all forms of dementia.

Our ethos is to offer continuity of care, judgement free support and a safe community for parents to learn and families to grow.

The Singing Collective is run and led by Harriet Roberts in Haslemere. Harriet is a local mum of three who as well as running the choir, is also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist. Harriet is very passionate about mental health and finding ways to both help people struggling or prevent the struggle happening, whether that be in adults or children.​ She has lots of experience with working with babies and toddlers as she previously ran 'Sing and Sing' both in London and Haslemere across 8 years. Sessions are every Wednesday morning during West Sussex school term times, 10.30am - 11.30am at Haslewey Community Centre. Coffee & biscuits included!

Toddler Sense is a multi-sensory adventure class for children 13 months to 5 years old. Each session aims to develop your busy toddler’s skills in a safe and happy environment with a mixture of adventure play and structured activities. In Haslemere, sessions are held in Grayswood Village Hall on a Friday

Velo Club Godalming Haslemere is surrounded by some of the best cycling in the country.

Walk & Talk is held on the first Thursday of each month. Please meet at the Fernhurst Hub at 09:30 if you would like to join in.

Waverley Active campaign to provide a safe, enjoyable and accessible environment for people of all ages and the ability to both start and enjoy cycling. Their current aim is, but is not limited to, these first areas:
School and Training
Young Cyclist group
Adult Cyclist group
Mixed age Cycle group (young people with suitable adult supervision allowed to join rides)
They are hoping to attend more events in the near future and are in the final stages of getting their stall set up. They are also in the process of becoming a Community Interest Company (CIC), so that they can host their own events.

Wishanger Wild School run weekly sessions on a Monday or Tuesday between 9.30 and 11.30. These sessions are for families, parents, grandparents, nannies and childminders with little ones. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours. Examples of activities include: Woodland and nature study, den building, natural crafts, scavenger hunts and more.

Zumba Fitness Classes are held on Mondays from 7:30 pm – 8:15 pm at Hammer Hall. Zumba mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party.
