Haslemere Library is delighted to be launching a brand-new Chess Club this October.

Open to anyone aged 8+, the club is designed to bring together players of all ages and experience levels in a friendly, welcoming environment. Whether you're learning the basics, returning to the game after a break, or already a confident player, you'll find opportunities to play, learn and improve.

Our volunteer organiser has developed a range of formats and challenges that help players find suitable opponents based on ability, making it easier for everyone to enjoy a rewarding game, regardless of age or experience.
