Our new volunteering event starts this Sunday morning.

Come along and help us get our new Winter Works sessions on Little Lynchmere Common off to a flying start. Fresh air, good company and a cuppa with a purpose!

Inspired by the Winter Works that Mike and Gay have hosted on Marley Heath for over 20 years, Tamsin will be leading the way on Little Lynchmere Common.

Together, we’ll clear rhododendron, birch, gorse and bracken to give the heather room to thrive. We’ll burn what we’ve cleared, put the kettle on and enjoy a well-earned natter. A little hard work, plenty of laughs and the satisfaction of making a real difference to our common. What better way to spend a Sunday morning?

Each session starts at 10am and finishes at approximately 12:30pm. Bring your enthusiasm, hardy gloves, loppers and hand saws. We’d love to see you there.

Future Winter Works dates are 15th November 2026, 17th January 2027, 14th March 2027.
