Kids Coding Workshops: Design Your Own Game with Python!

Have you ever dreamed of designing your very own game?

Join Haslemere Library's fun and friendly Kids Coding Workshops for budding game developers aged 8–14, where children can turn their ideas into reality using Python.

6 weekly sessions in June: 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th
2–3pm
Suggested Donation £1 per session

Children will learn how to create games from scratch or build on their existing Python skills by working on projects at different levels. They don’t need to attend every session — each workshop stands alone, and participants will receive individual guidance based on their experience and confidence.

What to bring:
A laptop or computer.
No laptop? No problem! Speak to a member of staff about borrowing one of ours. Please note that library laptops must stay on‑site, so projects can’t be taken home to work on.

A great chance to get creative, meet like‑minded young coders, and develop coding skills at a pace that suits them.
