
Join Tessa on this workshop and learn how to pipe a range of spring flowers, decorating up to 6 cupcakes during the 2-hour workshop. You will pipe large, statement flower cupcakes and mini-bouquet cupcakes and take home your decorated cupcakes in a presentation box. Tessa will share tips and tricks for baking cupcakes and making and using buttercream. The following will be covered during the workshop:
Tips on baking delicious lemon cupcakes
Choosing the correct buttercream for flower piping and how best to colour it
The equipment required to pipe buttercream flowers
Key piping techniques using different nozzles including petal nozzle, drop flower nozzle, leaf nozzle, grass nozzle and writing nozzle
Flowers will include blossom, daisy, daffodil and camelia
You will need to bring an apron, note book and pencil
Confused by the nozzles you have at home? Bring them along and Tessa will explain what they are used for.
