A ceremony to commemorate the handing over of the keys to Haslemere Signal Box and the grand opening of the Haslemere Railway Museum.

The Patrons, Chair, and Trustees of HSBT cordially invite you to a ceremony to mark the handover by Network Rail to HSBT of HASLEMERE SIGNAL BOX and the opening of HASLEMERE RAILWAY MUSEUM

To be held at Haslemere Railway Station on Saturday, 13 June 2026 at 10.45am for 11.00am start.

TIMETABLE OF EVENTS

10.45 - Gather in station forecourt

11.00 -  Remarks by senior Network Rail and South Western Railway representatives

11.15 - Formal handover of signal box keys to the HSBT Chair

11.30 - Opening of Haslemere Railway Museum and guided visits by HSBT Trustees

Guests should assemble in the small station car park behind the signal box and may like to note that a Railway Touring Company steam special, the "Portsmouth Flyer" is scheduled to call at the station to take water between 10.45am and 11.00am.
