The wait is finally over! The Rude Mechanicals are delighted to share some joyful news they’ve been eager to tell: their 2026 summer production will be The Wife.

This original musical play, inspired by Chaucer’s classic, is bursting with live music and original songs. Written by Pete Talbot, with music by Rowan Talbot, the show is by turns hilarious, bawdy, beautifully poetic and tender; a rich, provocative evening of word, wit and song.
