After the recent announcement that the annual Haslemere Charities Fair - which has been a local institution for over 40 years - was to be cancelled due to an unprecedented early shortage of stall bookings, the event has now been saved by a group of Haslemere Residents working closely with Haslemere Town Council.

It will now take place on Sunday, 23rd November from 10.00am-2.00pm at Haslemere Hall instead of the previous Saturday date.

Local stalwarts, Oli Leach and Ken Griffiths have partnered with Haslemere Town Council to help generously fund the 2025 Charities Fair. They are proud and delighted to announce that this warm and welcoming November event will now be FREE OF CHARGE to all stallholders as well as FREE entry to the public.

“When I heard that Haslemere residents felt so strongly that the Charities Fair must continue, I was really touched,” said Dianne Bennett, who has organised this popular event for the last 40 years. “The Fair has been an important part of life in Haslemere for years and a number of charities have now signed up, but we do have space for more”

As in previous years, there will be an abundance of exciting stalls offering fabulous gifts, quality presents, delicious home-made cakes and amazing handcrafted goods to name but a few. This is a golden opportunity to enjoy festive shopping whilst supporting worthy causes.

“We are so glad that we have been able to rescue the 2025 Charities Fair with the help of Haslemere Town Council." said Ken Griffiths. “After 40 great fundraising years, how could we not support Dianne too!”

“I am truly delighted to be part of the collective effort that has successfully saved this highly valued community event.” said former Mayor, Oli Leach. “Its continuation is crucial providing local charities with a platform to raise vital funds and awareness for the incredible work that they do.”

There really is something for everyone of all ages and stages in life at this annual event.

“We are so delighted that the Charities Fair is returning to Haslemere Hall for its 41st year.” said Howard Bicknell, the Hall’s Manager. “It’s a wonderful, worthy event, so do come along and buy or browse. This year will be even better with the newly refurbished lounge annexe with a cafe to enjoy delicious light snacks and a hot brew!”
