If you have a fall at home but are not hurt or in pain, help is available through the Guildford and Waverley Community Falls Responder Service, run by the NHS in partnership with Mole Valley Life. For the Haslemere area, you must be registered with Haslemere Health Centre, Grayshott Surgery, or Chiddingfold Surgery.
A qualified Community Falls Responder can come to your home within 45 minutes (or up to 60 minutes in rural areas) to help you up safely using specialist lifting equipment, and make sure you’re comfortable.
This is a simple, safe way to get the right help when you need it most without having to wait for an ambulance!
The service is available 7 days a week 6am to 9pm. Call 0300 369 0590.
