HHH Concerts, a Haslemere based charity run entirely by volunteers, has arranged a series of lunchtime concerts in November. They are the perfect opportunity to step away from your busy life and hear world class professional musicians on the doorstep here in Haslemere.
On the 5th November, the cellist and TÁR film star, Sophie Kauer, will perform alongside Keval Shah on piano. Their programme consists of sonatas by Brahms and Franck. This concert will be at St. Bartholomew’s Church and is in aid of The Cheryl King Trust.
On the 6th November, violinist and vocalist, Alice Zawadzki will join Rob Luft on guitar. This is an improvised programme by two musicians who are quite superb performing together. Jazz is a true departure for HHH but, having heard this duo in London earlier this year, we were very keen to introduce them to a Haslemere audience at St. Christopher’s Church.
On the 7th November, we tune our ears to baroque music. Perfect Cadence will bring period and modern instruments to Haslemere and perform Bach, Torelli, Vivaldi and Hertel. St. Christopher’s Church will be filled with the sound of oboe, cello, trumpet and harpsichord.
All performances begin at 1pm and children from local primary schools have been invited to enjoy the special experience of seeing and hearing music performed by internationally renowned professional musicians.
