Do you love books? Do you enjoy working with children? Perhaps you could join Haslemere Library as a Summer Reading Challenge volunteer!

The library is looking for friendly, enthusiastic people (aged 14+) to support this year’s Read to the Beat themed challenge, running from July to September.

Volunteers help:

Encourage children to talk about books
Young readers choose new reads
Hand out rewards
Support fun events and craft sessions

The team at Haslemere Library will give you training, and they will be there to support you in your volunteering endeavours.  They would love to hear from you if you are able to give them ten vounteering hours.

This is  good chance to volunteer and add it to your CV and/or include it in your university personal statement.
