Petworth Ukraine Relief have launched their Christmas Shoe Box Appeal and Haslemere for Ukraine are doing their bit to try and put together as many shoe boxes as possible. If you would like to put together a shoe box to send out to Ukraine next month, they would be extremely grateful. They would also welcome empty shoe boxes or any donations that they can use to put together packs.

There will be shoe boxes for all ages. Useful items include toiletries, school supplies for children, warm clothing such as hats, gloves and scarves, first aid supplies, small toys and puzzles, sweets and non perishable treats. No items with batteries please. The group also ask that you leave the boxes open so that contents can be checked before being sent. 

A carefully placed label on the outside of the box stating what age it is suitable for and whether it is best suited for a male or female would also be extremely useful.
