Haslemere Museum appeals for information following damage to its 18th century gazebo
Mindless damage has been done to the much-loved 18th century gazebo in Haslemere Museum's gardens!
Someone has apparently used it as a makeshift barbecue, causing horrific burning and blackening of its historic stone floor. They then left it strewn with litter.
There is unfortunately no evidence that the police can go on to find the people responsible, however, please call the Museum on 01428 642112 if you saw or heard anything that might provide a clue.
The museum is a town treasure which functions because of the invaluable help of volunteers.
