Haslemere Charities Fair
This November we'll be celebrating 42 years of the Charities Fair
Charity, Events, Volunteering, Fundraising

The ever-popular Christmas Charities Fair will be celebrating its 42nd annual event on Sunday 22nd November. Running from 10 am until 2 pm at the iconic Haslemere Hall, this is the only annual multi-charity market in Haslemere’s calendar. All not-for-profit organisations are welcome to book a stall – that’s volunteer and community groups as well as registered charities.
Once again the event is being organized by local stalwarts Dianne Bennet, Oli Leach and Ken Griffiths, who would like to thank Haslemere Town Council for their support in providing funding for the Haslemere Hall hire. Once again, like last year, this means there will be no charge for stall tables!
The aim is to give 36 charities the chance to participate in this well-attended and much-loved Christmas Fair, so everyone will be allocated one 6ft table.
Entry to the Fair is FREE to the public and, as in previous years, there will be an abundance of exciting stalls offering fabulous gifts, quality presents, delicious home-made cakes and amazing handcrafted goods to name but a few – a golden opportunity to enjoy shopping whilst supporting worthy causes!
As always, the Fair aims to attract families with free visits to Father Christmas’s Grotto, face-painting, children’s books and gifts, plus raffles and tombolas. There is also the popular coffee shop offering beverages, snacks and cakes for all to enjoy.
There really does promise to be something for everyone of all ages at the Haslemere Charities Fair! What is more, being a Sunday the additional bonus is free local parking too.
If you are involved with a local volunteer, community group or registered charity and are interested in booking a stall, please contact Dianne Bennett for more information at db.haslemere@btinternet.com.
