Friendly, growing and social running club that meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Woolmer Hill Sports Club. The club caters for absolute beginners through to top club runners.
Carers and Friends Monthly Meet-Up is open to unpaid carers and anyone else who would like to benefit from chat and local information. These informal, sociable gatherings take place at the Fernhurst Hub on the first Fridayof the month between 14:30 and 16:00.
Games Afternoon takes place every
Thursday from 14:00 - 16:00 at the Fernhurst Hub. All are welcome and it is free to attend. It's a fun and sociable afternoon playing board games and cards. Games include backgammon, scrabble, chess, bananagrams and more.
Walk & Talk is held on the first Thursday of each month. Please meet at the Fernhurst Hub at 09:30 if you would like to join in.
The Haslewey is a non-government funded community centre. It offers a wide range of daily activities and has an on site cafe open from 9 am until 3 pm each day. Always offering a warm welcome and lots of fun activities, the centre strives to offer a place for people of all ages to come and enjoy. It also has a community Post Office whose opening hours are Monday to Friday 9 am - 5 pm.
