Hemingways Cafe hosts a weekly Chatty Cafe in Haslemere
Chatter & Natter tables
Chatter & Natter tables are where customers can sit if they are happy to talk to other customers. Hundreds of venues offer Chatter & Natter tables, in cafes, pubs, libraries, hospitals – anywhere that people can sit and chat over a coffee. In Haslemere, the Chatty Cafe is held every Tuesday between 9.30am and 11.30am at Hemingways Cafe.
Volunteers are sought to host ‘chatter & natter’ tables, where the volunteer helps create a welcoming space for members of the public to get together and chat, should they wish to.
Our vision is that ‘chatter & natter’ tables encourage people of all ages to talk to others and not feel so socially isolated; you will be instrumental in helping us achieve this and play a key role in connecting people within your community.
