A committee of local people enthusiastic and keen to raise monies in support of the RNLI.
About
Recent fund raising activities have included partaking in street processions for the Jubilee in 2022 and the Coronation in 2023; the Haslemere Christmas Market; our annual croquet tournament and annual bridge event. We also usually have an annual evening event which has varied each year but has included quizzes, wine tasting, line dancing, Scottish dancing, indoor horse racing etc etc
We also participate in Supermarket and Street Collections.
Help Needed
This local RNLI branch seeks volunteers, ideally with an affinity to this lifeboat charity, to assist in different areas.
1) Social media and marketing. RNLI seeks help with advertising events, keeping Facebook current, creating graphics, posters, fliers, sending out mailings.
2) Help at fundraising events. This includes an annual Bridge Tea in Fernhurst Village Hall, a Croquet Tournament, a November fun event (generally a quiz or race night or ceilidh), a Tennis Tournament.
3) Street collections in Haslemere, Hindhead and Grayshott.
4) Join the committee.
