The Tantum Trust helps local people who are struggling using profits generated from their stores

About

The Tantum Trust helps struggling families and individuals in North East Hampshire and South West Surrey. They have four shops in Bordon, Liphook, Haslemere and Grayshott. These stores are run by managers assisted by over 40 volunteers. The profits from these stores provide the funds from which grants are made to the needy within our society. Trustees meet regularly to consider grant applications. Grant applications must be made through agencies such as Citizens Advice, Social Services, Schools and Family Centres. These applications must come with financial statements and supporting evidence. The trustees are not limited in what types of grants can be considered. Decisions will be made as quickly as possible, sometimes in a matter of hours.

Help Needed

The Tantum Trust are always grateful for any support you can offer as a volunteer for the charity. Volunteers are welcome within their stores. Alternatively, if you are a business, a school or any other organisation or community group, the Tantrum Trust welcome your donations, whether via a fundraising event or in any other way.
