FREE Family Activity Trail in Haslemere

Apr 01, 2022

What are those footprints around Haslemere?

You may have seen some footprints around Haslemere and wondering what they are for? Waverley Borough Council Economic Development, and Cultural Services teams, have been working in partnership with Haslemere Town Council, Haslemere Educational Museum, and A Line Art to develop family activity trails which are also taking place in Haslemere and Godalming.

From April to June families can follow the footprints around town to take part in a FREE family activity trail!

How do I take part in the Family Activity Trail?

This activity trail celebrates Haslemere, bringing to life its heritage and taking you on a journey of discovery. Follow the giant footprints and use your pencil and an activity sheet (which you can download below or pickup from Haslemere Museum entrance) as a guide to marvel at the town while undertaking a variety of fun activities.

Where do I start?

Haslemere Educational Museum, 78 High St, Haslemere, GU27 2LA

Play safe...a message from Haslemere Town Council

We want to ensure that all activity trail goers have a safe experience. Please note that the activity trails are self-led and we ask parents and guardians to accompany and supervise children at all times. If locations are busy, please come back when it’s quieter.

The adventure continues...

Hop over to Farnham and Godalming to experience two more trails, starting at Farnham Maltings and Godalming Library.

Share your pics online using the hashtags... #ActivityTrail and #ALineArt

When I took over the shop from Ronald Timms in 2014, I had no idea how a bookshop worked; fortunately the staff (all friends or family) did! Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
