Meet Laura

Hi, I’m Laura.

I was born and raised in Surrey and moved back 5 years ago after spending a decade in London. I have worked in digital marketing for my whole career, from search engine optimisation and on site content to social media planning and strategy. I feel my strength is looking at overall brand strategy and working out which components are needed to further drive business but my favourite part of my job is writing, which is why you will find me mostly hanging out in “The Edit’ section. My passion has always been written word and during my time in London I ran a successful lifestyle blog which took me across Europe and allowed me to eat out in some wonderful places and have some great experiences.

Now back in Surrey and with two small people in tow, I cover marketing at a local charity and continue to help small businesses with their social media, content and copy needs.

I really believe in the power of community and local economy and feel that shop local is such an important movement in the world we live in and am so pleased to be involved with the CoLab and This is Haslemere.
