Local Craft Gin, Gifts, Delivery & Gin Distillery Experiences

The Village Spirit Collective produces unique craft spirits with the local community. Our distillery is based in the beautiful village of Hambledon in the Surrey Hills, the collective gathers together local “ Ginfluencers ®” in communities to create a drink which reflects the nature of the area - a true Community Spirit.

We use a vapour infusion process in our micro-distillery which features a bespoke state of the art copper column still. This method of gin production is certainly not the fastest but we believe it results in more subtle and nuanced flavours.

We're proud to have been awarded the Surrey Hills Trade Mark.

CRAFT GIN: Our expanding range includes Vann Lane Gin, Haslemere Gin, seasonal specials and Gin Liqueurs. All of our Community Spirits and limited edition seasonal specials are available to buy online through money- and time-saving subscription plans or you can purchase single bottles and gift sets or vouchers

EXPERIENCES: Meet the distiller and gain an insight into distillation whilst enjoying a welcome drink and exploring our gin range. Plus create your own gin blends by exploring and blending individually distilled botanicals. Option to purchase your own gin blend.

MOBILE BAR HIRE: If you have an event and want us to take the stress away of running your bar, then look no further.

FAQ: Why do we have a gin called Haslemere Gin if we're not based in Haslemere? Because our model is based on getting gin lovers (our Ginfluencers!) together in a community to help us develop the gin for that area. Also, were only round the corner from Haslemere :-)

Interview with Ian Rowley, owner of The Haslemere Bookshop The Haslemere Bookshop is an independent bookshop at the heart of Haslemere High Street selling new and second-hand books, and cards. Did you face any challenges when setting up the business? There has been a bookshop on the High Street for many years. When I took over the shop from Ronald Timms in 2014, I had no idea how a bookshop worked; fortunately the staff (all friends or family) did! Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
