Weyhill in Bloom is a group of volunteers whose aim is to enhance the the areas of Wey Hill and Junction Place in Haslemere.
What they do:
Ever stopped by the Tescos traffic lights and wondered who’s responsible for all the beautiful flowers pouring out of the troughs? It’s Weyhill in Bloom we have to thank for over 35 stunning hanging-baskets, troughs and bay tree planters dotted up and down Wey Hill and Junction Place. Their busy team work throughout the year, but particularly in the summer months when the pots need planting up, watering and dead-heading to keep them lasting longer.
How they work:
Weyhill in Bloom create and tend the floral displays around Wey Hill and Junction Place. During the drier Spring and Summer months, a team of volunteers are needed to water these twice a week. They also need volunteers to help with planting and dead heading of flowers.
How to help:
