Aga Kehinde Coaching

Mar 16, 2021

Accredited coach, therapist & wellbeing consultant.

I am Aga Kehinde, an accredited coach, therapist and wellbeing consultant who uses a full body-mind-energy experience for achieving holistic wellbeing.

My journey with helping people started over 20 years ago, when I trained as a nurse specialising in oncology and oncology research. Along the way I qualified with a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching & Neuro Linguistic Programming with the Coaching Academy.

I have spent many years working with individuals who have experienced serious life challenges and support them as they navigate their way through the chaos, developing wellbeing strategies for them to reclaim purpose and meaning into their lives.

I specialise in coaching people affected by cancer, enabling them to deal successfully with the impact of cancer on their lives, thus enabling them the ability to move forward from it in the way they need. Coaching helps cancer patients, their families and carers, at various stages of their journey, from the early stages of diagnosis and treatment, to living with and beyond cancer, including metastatic disease. I also support clients with Acromegaly, Type I & II Diabetes, Auto-Immune Disorders.

I am the Cancer Educator and Health & Wellbeing Lead for the Oncology Division at the Royal Surrey Hospital in Guildford. I also run a successful coaching business and regularly volunteer as a Cancer Coach at the Fountain Centre, a charity which provides emotional and psychological support for cancer patients, their families and carers.

This combination of a lifetime of senior nursing experience, coupled with multiple techniques such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Matrix Reprinting Technique (MRT) and Neurolinguistic Programming, has allowed me to create an empowering self-development model that my clients desire.

I have successfully been working with individuals from various walks of life, with or without medical conditions, but with the common denominator of:

Stress or anxieties.

Feeling over whelmed and reaching burnout.

Stuck and unable to move forward with things in life (personal/professional).

Lack of confidence, low self-esteem.

Easily emotionally triggered / regularly-returning past traumas and experiences.

Fear of public speaking, social anxieties, struggles with giving presentations.

Phobias of certain things.

Having tried many different treatments and approaches without much success I regularly support professionals, individuals and corporate groups, entrepreneurs and business owners, adults, teenagers and anyone who needs to make sense of a complex situation, by developing bespoke strategies for achieving holistic success.

An example of this is my recently launched self-study course VUCANAV, this online course is based on science and uses the latest scientific research to guide you through a stress management framework.

I also work with support groups and local communities to develop group coaching programs, bespoke masterminds sessions and webinars on Health & Wellbeing and Stress & Anxiety management.

I am a fully-certified coach, with internationally recognised qualifications and I believe and support regulation and qualifications for the coaching industry, ensuring standards and safety for clients.

I am a member of EFT International, European Mentoring & Coaching Council (EMCC), and I subscribe to EMCC’s Code of Ethics. I regularly undertake Continuous Personal Development (CPD), under monthly supervision for both coaching and EFT therapy.

Interview with Ian Rowley, owner of The Haslemere Bookshop The Haslemere Bookshop is an independent bookshop at the heart of Haslemere High Street selling new and second-hand books, and cards. Did you face any challenges when setting up the business? There has been a bookshop on the High Street for many years. When I took over the shop from Ronald Timms in 2014, I had no idea how a bookshop worked; fortunately the staff (all friends or family) did! Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
