Meet Anna

Mar 16, 2021

Hi I am Anna

I qualified as a yoga teacher in 2015 and now run my own business, LoveLifeYoga, from my home in Brook where I offer small classes in a yurt in my garden set amongst the wonderful countryside we have in this area. I was drawn to yoga after many years of being a fitness enthusiast. I wanted to develop my spiritual and mental wellbeing alongside my physical well being. I am mum to 5 kids and two step kids. My family life is busy to say the least and I found the stress and strain of life was more than just physical fitness could alleviate. Yoga has worked for me and I firmly believe it can work for anyone. In fact, my mantra is 'yoga is for everyonel' hence my classes are not about seeing yourself in mirrored walls or wearing the latest, expensive yoga pants! I keep in touch with my clients and potential clients via a FaceBook page so do, please, check it out, 'like' it if you will and come along to a class if you fancy!

Did you face any challenges when setting up the business? There has been a bookshop on the High Street for many years. When I took over the shop from Ronald Timms in 2014, I had no idea how a bookshop worked; fortunately the staff (all friends or family) did! Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
