Village Cricket Club

Grayshott Cricket Club is a family orientated village cricket club open with nearly 400 members and an ALLStars/Dynamos Section of over 100 new to the game. 


A junior section with a great reputation for producing young cricketers the club has 12 boys teams and 2 girls teams in 2022. 

Our girls section has grown considerably and in 2022 the club will also have two women’s softball sides with over 30 women attending training each week. 



Our adult men's section has five sides, four on a Saturday playing cricket locally in the I'Anson League together with a Sunday XI.

The club has two grounds both offering excellent facilities and welcomes both new members and volunteer help.

Interview with Ian Rowley, owner of The Haslemere Bookshop The Haslemere Bookshop is an independent bookshop at the heart of Haslemere High Street selling new and second-hand books, and cards. Did you face any challenges when setting up the business? There has been a bookshop on the High Street for many years. When I took over the shop from Ronald Timms in 2014, I had no idea how a bookshop worked; fortunately the staff (all friends or family) did! Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
