Meet the Team

Left to right front row:

 

Kate Bradford worked on award winning accounts at J Walter Thompson then as Group Board Director of SP Lintas and was first Managing Director of Parker Williams, focusing on brand, identity and design and is a graduate of Cambridge University.

 

Helen Bowcock co-founded a software company, has served on the Boards of Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex and University of Surrey, has a PhD from University of Kent and is originally a graduate of Durham University.

 

Jenny Thrower began as Co-working Manager at Hasleworks in July and has worked in the transport and logistics sectors including ten years as a train driver and as Company Secretary of Universal Leader Ltd.

Paul Edwards first joined Unilever before working for several advertising agencies, was Chief Strategy Officer at Publicis, Chair and CEO of The Henley Centre and oversaw the merger of Research International and TNS and is a graduate of Durham University. 

 

Dom Bowcock is cofounder of Bowimi which provides FMCG brands with a user friendly platform and app for sales/marketing data, is an experienced co-worker and graduate of Newcastle University.

 

Matthew Bowcock is a law graduate who has a background in technology start up, is Vice Chair of Watts Gallery, former Chair of Community Foundations UK and former member of Arts Council England.

Interview with Ian Rowley, owner of The Haslemere Bookshop The Haslemere Bookshop is an independent bookshop at the heart of Haslemere High Street selling new and second-hand books, and cards. Did you face any challenges when setting up the business? There has been a bookshop on the High Street for many years. When I took over the shop from Ronald Timms in 2014, I had no idea how a bookshop worked; fortunately the staff (all friends or family) did! Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
