The Haslemere Information Hub provides information to visitors coming to Haslemere. It is the public face of the Haslemere Community Station.
How they work:
The Haslemere Information hub is currently open from Wednesday to Saturday from 10 am until 12 noon. It is located in the Haslemere railway station forecourt, next to the main entrance. If the hub is closed, they have an outdoor display providing 24/7 information about Haslemere and the surrounding area.
How to help:
The Haslemere Information Hub are always looking for volunteers eager to share their enthusiasm for Haslemere and the surrounding area. To be a volunteer all you need commit to covering a two-hour shift at the Info Hub, giving visitors a warm welcome with maps, guidebooks and leaflets, and to answer any questions they may have. You will be able to direct visitors to local attractions and businesses, thus positively impacting the local economy.
As well as helping inside the hub itself, the Haslemere Information hub keep the station looking its best by maintaining the flower beds on the platforms.
