Haslemere and Liphook St John's Ambulance

St John's Ambulance is a charity that provides workplace training, first aid supplies and event and ambulance services.

How they work:

Volunteers are at the heart of how St John's Ambulance deliver their services. They deliver vital medical aid both as Community First Responders and in providing emergency response support. Their first aid services are also relied upon at thousands of events every year throughout the country. They provide this support at a number of events in Haslemere such as the Haslemere Food Festival, the Fringe Festival and the Christmas Fair. And they provide first aid, health and safety and mental health first aid training to companies, local authorities and members of the public.

How to help:

St John's Ambulance Haslemere & Liphook are recruiting for more volunteers. There are a number of volunteer roles available with St John's Ambulance. These include:

  • Community Advocates (educating communities on the importance of learning first aid)
  • Healthcare Professionals (providing clinical care and undertaking clinical assessments)
  • Community Fundraiser (raising vital funds)
  • Logistics Team Member (making sure the correct equipment is on hand)
  • Duke of Edinburgh Award Leader (mentoring and supporting young volunteers on the Duke of Edinburgh scheme)
