There are several National Trust areas providing glorious outside space both for exercise, and relaxation.
Hindhead Common & The Devils Punchbowl, and
Blackdown offer breathtaking views, with the landscape changing with the different seasons throughout the year.
Swan Barn Farm is just moments from Haslemere High Street and many people enjoy peaceful walking in this area.
Marley Common, to the west of the town, is a mixture of woodland and open heath. All of these areas are rich in biodiversity.
Haslemere itself is located within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You will also find Thursley Nature Reserve, Hankley and Elstead Commons, and Frensham Ponds within the Surrey Hills.
The South Downs National Park, which includes Blackdown, is right on our doorstep and this area stretches right down to the South Coast. Just a short distance away from Haslemere, near Petersfield, is Butser Hill with far reaching views.
Our focus is to grow this space to become a place of value where you can contribute, learn, teach, share & feel engaged in community life. Our vision is to create a space for the community and support you to create something amazing within it.
