Rotary Club of Haslemere

Mar 12, 2023

Working in the community to raise vital funds for local causes.

Rotary is one of the world's largest and most successful global membership and humanitarian service organisations, with 1.4 million members in over 200 countries. We have a unique position of being rooted within our own communities, but with a global outlook.

Rotary's 40,000 members in over 1,500 clubs in Great Britain and Ireland are volunteering their time and talents to tackle challenges at home and abroad. The Rotary Club of Haslemere is part of this global organisation and is dedicated to raising funds in support of charities and good causes, both locally and Internationally.

We are a group of both men and women volunteers who enjoy putting back into the community. There are so many projects and activities for you to get involved in by joining our club.

We have raised over £100,000 for charities in recent years, and more recently, in support of Ukraine and the recent earthquake disasters. During and after the pandemic we have also provided over 200 laptops to local schools.

Annually, we organise the Charity Fayre in Haslemere Hall, and at Christmas time you may have seen our Santa in Charter Walk or visiting your street.

Its not all about raising charity funds, we also have fun events and activities. Should you wish to find out more please visit our website. For membership enquiries please click here.

Since then, through their hard work, the business has been transformed. Not only does the shop look very different but we are online, more community focussed and our second-hand book section rejuvenated.
